For Me-Made-May day 4 I wore my new blouse made from
Simplicity 3688, the same pattern that my trousers came from. I decided to take a risk and do the blouse in hot pink! To say that I was ambivalent about making the blouse is probably fairly accurate. Not only was I not to keen on the pattern to begin with, I wasn't sure if I could pull off such a bright blouse. But I am happy to say that I really like it. Though I think it would only work with the high-waisted trousers (probably why the blouse and trousers are in the same pattern!!)
