I am very excited! Tomorrow is the start of the 2013 Sew Grateful Week. I had so much fun during the previous Sew Grateful Weeks. Here's what will be happening around here this next week:
Monday is Giveaway Day! I'll be hosting my own giveaway tomorrow and will also provide a place for you to link up your Sew Grateful giveaway posts (a linky party!)
Tuesday is the official 'Sew Grateful Day'! I'll be writing my own post about what the online sewing community means to me and also what I'm particularly grateful for. I'll also provide a space for you to link back to your own reflection posts.
I would also love for people who don't have blogs to be able to participate. You can send me a paragraph (or just a couple of sentences) on what the online sewing community means to you and I'll compile these all into a post later in the week. Wednesday is the Sharing Day! This is the day to share your own online tutorial, to provide links to online resources or to share your own pattern. I'll be helping to launch a super fun initiative on Wednesday and I'll also provide space for you to link back to your own tutorials, resources and patterns!
Thursday is the Sew Grateful Project Day! I'm super excited for Thursday. I've just put the finishing touches on my Sew Grateful project and I think it's one of my favourite outfits to date. I just need to get photos but I think you're going to love it!! I had the chance to collaborate with one of my blog readers to complete the ensemble. I'll also provide a space for you to link to your 'Sew Grateful' projects whether it was a project using a recent swap item or present or something inspired by another sewist...the possibilities are endless.
Friday and Saturday are the Highlight Days. I'll highlight some of the posts from the Sew Grateful Week and provide a bit of a wrap-up.
